G&G Project Sparta, LLC—a joint venture between Gillespie Group and Goldenrod Companies—will lead the transformation of this 14-acre site around a state-of-the-art athletic arena into the Spartan Gateway District, establishing a prominent and lasting entryway to Michigan State University. The district will be delivered in multiple phases. Phase one includes the state-of-the-art athletic arena, which is expected to be operational by late 2027.
